Fixed SMS Center-FSMSC

Fixed SMS Service is the first and only system capable of sending and receiving messages landline in Iran. The first version of this product has been exploited in the fixed telephone network of Tehran and East Azerbaijan Provinces. This system is installed in the core of fixed telephone network (PSTN) and allows sending and receiving messages for PSTN’s subscribers. FSMSC has several features that are not limited to the following:

  • Able to Send SMS on the fixed telephone network (PSTN/ISDN)
  • Able to Send and receive SMS from the fixed network to the mobile network and vice versa
  • Able to Sendand receive SMS fromthe fixed networktothe Internetand vice versa
  • Based on ITU standards and supports (Protocol I) 201-912 in ETSI
  • Supports Protocol 1 in GSM 03.38 version 1.2 and GSM 03.4 version 1.4
  • Able to set connection between FSMSC and mobile network SMSCs via ITU standard protocols such as SMPP and IP
  • Is implementedon the servers in accordancewith the up-to-date technologyandextensible architecturebased ontraffic which is considered by operators
  • Supports SMPP، FSK، ISUP and Modem V23
  • Sending SMS’s Status Reports
  • Able to sendshortmessages toa group ofsubscribers via Distribution list for system operator
  • Able to define favorite messages in form of Canned Message for system operator
